Big Magic Book Review

Elizabeth Gilbert is one of those inspiring individuals we all need to keep close by. She has a gentle yet persuasive tone while she matter of factly discusses some of her own struggles with creativity and breakthroughs. She shares others stories as well, some more well known and some less well known, The thread that weaves these stories together is the universal pull of wanting to be creative, to share our creativity and how in the end, that is what matters. We do these difficult and challenging things even if no one buys it, sees it, or knows about what went into this. That is creativity. She also talks about the mystery of the creative process and allowing inspiration to step foot into our lives with a generous and open heart, lest it goes to someone more open to the ideas.
